Added features from iriverter 0.16:
- Smarter DVD graphical interface, picks the largest title.

- Newer versions of the backend software, mplayer and mencoder.
- Support for selecting subtitle stream and burning it into target video.
- Subtitle options: Put on black band (called "Make space for subtitles") and position (top or bottom).
- Some bugs fixed, some (probably) introduced.
- Saves things in user home directory instead of in Program Files.
requirements:
- Java
- Windows. (It should be able to make it run under Linux, but I haven't tested it.)
faq
How do I add/change profiles?
The profile file format is the same as iriverter. You can find the
files under
c:\Documents and Settings\Username\.kawaiiriver\
.
(or ~/.kawaiiriver
on *nix.).
If you have trouble finding it, try setting up your file manager
to view hidden files.
Edit the files with a text editor, for example Notepad or Wordpad. Make sure to save it as a normal text file.
Make sure you don't run KawaiiRiver while editing a profile! There is an old iriverter bug which can cause erratic behavior, which I haven't fixed.
How about subtitles from .sub/.srt?
Coming up in the next version.
I want to develop KawaiiRiver?
I'm currently in the process of registering a SourceForge project.
