Rödluvan in the snow 27 |

| Rödluvan was walking in the snow and heard somebody calling from a school yard: "Rödluvan come to me, I want to meet you." |

| 2006-01-29. Then Rödluvan saw a shiny polar bear made of glistening ice. |
 |
| 2006-01-29. There were strong spotlights shining with purple light on the school yard and this gave the bear a beautiful blue colour. |
 |
| 2006-01-29. Rödluvan walked to the polar bear. Her shadow went very long in the light. |
 |
| 2006-01-29. Rödluvan said: "Oh! You look beautiful". Yes it was gorgeous to see this shining polar bear. "My name is Shiny", he said, "I will give you some light in the darkness. |

| 2006-01-29. Rödluvan said: "Wow!" And walked around the bear to take pictures of him. But Rödluvans fingers went so cold. She had to rub her hand to keep them warm. But the temperature was -5C = 5,00F !!! |

| 2006-01-29. After it Rödluvan was standing in front of the bear and both went talking. Shiny said: "King Bore, the King of winter sent me to your town". I heard about the light festival and want to take a look at it. |

| 2006-01-29. The polar bear liked the red hearts that also belongs to the light festival. And there were sculptures made of snow in the ice rink. |

| 2006-01-29. It was to cold to stay a long time with the bear. Rödluvan patted the polar bear on it's cold nose and said: "Goodbye my friend". Shiny said: "Goodbye Rödluvan, and don't forget this: There's light even in the darkness. |

A new meeting with the polar bear |

| 2006-01-30. At January 30 Rödluvan met the polar bear again. And now it was more shining as it was at January 18. This was because of the bear went wet of the milder weather. But last week the polar bear was gone. Rödluvan went searching on the market place with the old town hall. But the bear was not there. Rödluvan could not figure out where he was gone. |

| Now Santa Claus made of ice, who was on the market place before, was standing at the place there the bear was standing before. Santa was not red anymore. Now he had the same blue colour as the bear had. Rödluvan asked Santa where the bear had gone. Santa said. "I think he is looking around in town". |

| Today when Rödluvan was on the bus, she saw from the bus window that the bear was back! Rödluvan went off the bus and said by herself: "I want to meet him again". |
 |
| Rödluvan said: "Oh Shiny, welcome back where have you been?" Shiny said: "I have been with the new town hall. They had showing in the building and I was there to say 'Welcome' to all the people who wanted to look at the new town hall". |
 |
| "Oh!" Rödluvan said. "Now I understand. I showed a neighbour the picture I took of you before. And she said to me that she had seen such a bear with the new town hall too. She said. Maybe it was his brohter. But now I understand, it was you who was there, he, he, this was real funny :-)". Shiny said: "Yes it was me, I said hello to you neighbour when she came to the town hall". |

| Rödluvan took some pictures again and on this picture you can see the bear Shiny and the shadow of Rödluvan. After it Rödluvan said goodbye to the bear and Santa. |

| Rödluvan got on the bus and she saw Shiny and Santa standing on the ice and she went waving to them.. |
