Christmas Eve 2008-12-24

Rödluvan standing by the tree.
It was a white Christmas. This picture is so beautiful. This house is standing cross the street there Rödluvan lives. And this Christmas rödluvan had jokes about houses. :-)
Rödluvan's son came to celebrate Christmas. Here standing beside Rödluvan in his grey hooded jacket.  (this picture taken 2008-12-09)
First we had dinner and had the typical Swedish Christmas table.
Lennart had put all the packages under the tree. And took this picture while Rödluvan was caring for the table.
Lennart took this picture too. Santa and at the left a new red glass Christmas ball.
After the dinner we opened the presents. This year Rödluvan had wrapped the presents for Lennnart in house advertizing newspaper. Rödluvan did collect small empty boxes in the basement some months for this occasion.
Rödluvan bought this penguin calendar for Lennart.
And a pengiun bag. Rödluvan use to buy a penguin present for Lennart every year. Because his computer is named: "The Penguin. Rödluvan gave his computer that name because Lennart installed Linux on it.
Here Rödluvan was joking and wrapped that stone to Lennart. And wrote. "Here you get the first stone to your future house."
Maybe you remember that Rödluvan had a secret in the tunnel at the hospital? That day she bought this soap for Lennart.
Lennart should open this present at the end. (last) There was a paper around it with pictures of houses. Rödluvan happened to find such paper.
Lennart taking away the wrapping paper.
And the present was........ A HOUSE ! :-)
It was a house with a lamp inside. Lennart liked it very much.
The day Rödluvan bought it she did test it. Here you can se how cute the house is.
Ove and Lennart after the wrapping. Ove playing with his laptop.
Ove got this present from Rödluvan.  It seems to be an electric water kettle.
But out cam an old dusty flower pot. Rödluvan had put in that thing so it should feel heavy and like a real kettle.
But what was the real present? Rödluvan gave him money for a dance trip to the boat Cinderella.

Every year they mention in Sweden a thing for the Christmas present of the year. One year it was a cap, another year a radio (and so on). But this year the Christmas present of the year was an experience present. For example: To give away a trip, or giving a visit to a theatre. Then Rödluvan gave Ove an experience present for dancing.

Rödluvan got a present card for a CD form Lennart. He had wrappd it in the wonderful glistaning bag.
Rödluvan bougt a Cd wiht all kind of Swedihs dance bands. The CD is a collection of a danceband competition on TV.

Rödluvan did wish small thing this year. From Ove she got a calendar wiht fireman and cats, deodortna, Helli Hansen Norwegian socks, and 2 small ducks and one goose. And the CD (picture above).
The ducks and goose are made of plastic . They have the German trade mark Schleich. But unfortunately they only had one goose left in the shop. That's why Ove only could buy one goose. Rödluvan is hoping she can buy a wife to the lonely goose in the future.

Rödluvan got this snowman duck and the angels from a friend in the USA.
Lennart tried to let the duck float on the water. But his hat was to high so the duck tipped over. Here Lennart is holding the duck.
Here Lennart and Ove were looking at soap flakes that Rödluvan got and how you should open the plastic jar. They were rather amused.
Rödluvan got this music box, a ceramic tiger and soap and powder  and a heart candle light from a friend in the USA. When the music box was playing, the two Santa went "skating" on the rink.

Here Rödluvan was looking up to the wishing star that was shining so bright in the sky. (But this star is made in Photo shop). She felt thankful for the wonderful Christmas that she could celebrate with her family. But still Rödluvan may wish upon a star.
