The Day after Christmas

[1998-12-25]

I managed to survive Christmas Eve. In fact, there WAS snow on Christmas Eve even though I feared there wouldn't be. How lucky I felt when I realised I was wrong.

And as always, I had a wonderful Christmas. I really love Christmas. I always have. I'll probably go on loving it too. I'm like a big child inside, I suppose. And that's what Christmas really is about, I think. To make us all feel young again (not that I'm frightingly old or something; I had my 23:rd birthday earlier this month.)

And as every Christmas Eve, I probably gained 1-2 kilograms... But who cares, when there's a New Year coming up? You can always make a promise to go on a diet or something. Of course you won't keep your promise, but that's another matter.

Now I'll spend the few days remaining this year eating chocolate, reading books, watching films and eating. Or in short, enjoy Christmas.
