Always Look Out for Number One

I'm desperately searching for a person. Figuratively speaking, of course. Well, at least I think it's figuratively speaking, because the person is a figure. That is, a number. I can't quite recall his name, but it'll come with time, I guess.

Oh, anyhow, it was a friend of mine who told me to look out for this person. I think he's a man. They almost always are, the people you're told to look for. I can't really understand why, though; I prefer looking for, and at for that matter, women. They are more pleasing to the eye, so to say. And they tend to be more caring too. Less focused on crude matter, and more focused on the things that matters...

Now I remember what my friend told me! He said:
"Always look out for number one."
But what should I do? I don't know what he looks like...
