Daylight Saving

Early this morning I discovered that someone had bereft me of something very valuable. An entire hour of my precious time had been brutally stolen. I sought and sought for the thief, but it was all in vain. To be sure I hadn't lost it on my own, I even looked under my bed and in all drawers. But it was to no avail.

In utter despair, I telephoned the police. And they solved the riddle. Tonight was the night of daylight saving...
