A perhaps somewhat more correct picture...

Welcome!

Welcome to my homepage here @acc.umu.se. Above you can study me as I was but am no more (at least in a very certain way). My name is, as you have already noticed, Stefan Larsson. I was a student on the Engineering Physics program here at Umeå University from september 1990 to January 1996, and since the program started as late as 1988, I'm one of the early pioneers.

Apart from studying (which far too often seems to become a secondary thing) I like to ski, and I've also been involved in various organisations at the university, such as party organizing committees and the Student Union. For instance I'm a member of Effie's Friends, an organisation of men who believe they can cook.

The spring semester 1994 I spent at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, as an exchange student through the Erasmus program.

During the fall semester 1995 I did my final thesis work at Bofors in Karlskoga. As Bofors is a defence company it's of course all very secret (I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you). Completing the thesis work gave me my Master degree and pushed me out into the brutal reality of working life. Karlskoga is a small and extremely uninteresting place, so I sought my future in our grand capital Stockholm - more specifically at Celsius Tech Systems in Järfälla, where I began working in May 1996.

In January -99 I stepped over to the ever (?) expanding mobile communications sector, and started as a consultant at MSI, working with optimization of cellular networks for operators worldwide.

If you're not in too big a hurry, drop by and visit my little brother Anders, who is also, by the way, studying on the Engineering Physics program.

A new interest of mine since last year is motorbikes

Another big interest of mine is hunting
