![]() This is swedish paper Svenska Dagbladet's review of the Sex Pistols gig at Sjöhistoriska Muséet Stockholm June 26 1996. The headline reads ''Happy reunion for all punks''. They get a favourable review, with the songs labeled ''unbeatable'' and the band playing them ''better than ever''. It says that inside the bar tent it's almost like back when they last played Stockholm in 1977, with tables and chairs thrown all over the place. There's the standard ''fat, fourty and back'' and how punk no longer has the same explosive power as it had in 1977 and all that. It ends with a good comment about the added bonus of how the reunion is upsetting hippie-punks with no sense of humour, and that the band was a lot of fun. Newspaper cutting kindly supplied by Johan Winegard. | |||

E-MAIL me if you've got it. Especially those of you who
saw them in 1977 and/or have any old pictures, news cuttings or other things of interest. |
