This cutting supplied by Christer Larsson, Halmstad, Sweden. |

| This was published the day after the Halmstad gig, but it can't be called a gig review. There's not one word about the band's performance. The main story is the police surveillance and the lack of violence and punk rock shock horror outrage. The paper says that the Sex Pistols were surrounded by one of the biggest police actions in town history and that the audience were surprisingly normal looking, with only a handful of punk rockers there. | The rest of the piece is an interview with tour manager Laurie Dunn who says that the band is sick of answering the same questions week after week but that they don't care about the media treating them like monsters. He refuses to say what he personally thinks about their music (''Well, I'm their PR man so you should ask somebody else''). When asked if this tour is worth doing finacially he says: ''No, but the boys want to play and when they're not allowed to do that in England...'' | |||

I'm always looking for good info on the SEX PISTOLS' gigs in Scandinavia.
E-MAIL me if you've got it. Especially those of you who
saw them in 1977 and/or have any old pictures, news cuttings or other things of interest. |
