This is all I know about different releases. By this I hope to help serious collectors, such as myself. I have put question-marks when there is uncertainties. I have done my very best to keep it correct, but some of it may still be based on assumptions.
If you have anything to
add, anything at all - just please E-mail me!
For
instance: If you just have a single, for which I haven't mentioned a B-side.
Or, if a B-side differs because
your record is from another country, than my source of information. Also, please correct any remaining
errors.

* = Sweeney Todd featuring Bryan Guy Adams. "Roxy Roller" and "Rue De
Chance" were written by Sweeney Todd's founding members
Nick Gilder and Jim McCullough, and originally released with Gilder as lead singer.
The single eventually became a smash in Canada, which I believe was after Gilder had
already left the group. In fact "Roxy Roller" received a
Juno Award for single of the year in Canada 1976.
It was released in the US as well, but climbed only to #90. However a new
version, with the same B-side as before ("Rue de chance") with Bryan as
lead singer (released in the US on London 244) was made and released in the US
as well, and reached #99.
The reason a second version was made is as far as I can tell that they wanted to
promote the song outside Canada with their new lead singer. I have no
information about the BA-version being released in Canada, it was however sent
out to radio stations as a demo-version (London HLU10540) in the UK,
and probably also commercially released there. If you know more about
this, Mail me

BRYAN ON DIFFERENT COMPILATION ALBUMS

The "We are the world" album (USA for Africa) contains "Tears Are Not
Enough" by Northern lights - a
charity project by numerous canadian artists. Bryan, of course is one of them and he also co-wrote the
lyrics with Jim Vallance and Rachel Paiement (french lyrics). The music
was done by David Foster.
"Tears Are Not Enough" also avaiable on CAN
