Beata cujus (Binicum VII) , Orlando di Lasso
Lyric: Verse six from Vexilla Regis by Venatius Fortunatus (530-609)

Original Latin text English translation Ungefärlig, översättning

Beata, cuius brachiis
pretium pependit saeculi:
statera facta corporis,
praedam tulit(que) tartari.
Blest Tree, whose happy branches bore
the wealth that did the world restore;
the beam that did that Body weigh
which raised up Hell's expected prey.
Välsigna trädet vars lyckliga grenar bar
det storslagna som återställde världen;
bjälken som bar upp vikten av Kroppen
som besvärjer Helvetes förväntade byte.
